Studio Recording
|
Studio recording time includes using any of the services @ UberStudios. If you wanted to lay down some ideas yourself or wanted to record vocals or guitar tracks. The studio time includes access to an engineer or you can bring your own engineer. The hardware and software listed bellow is at your full disposal.

On-Site Recording
|
On-Site includes a mobile rig taken anywhere in the Bay Area. The rig will be able to record 16 tracks live. We have recorded live gigs and albums in peoples practice places. On location recordings have been done at places like Roosters Rhode House and Santa Clara University Recital Hall. A rough mix of all the tracks is included. A data CD of all the tracks will also be included. *On-site work is always done on a per project basis.

Mixing
|
We do extensive mixing work @ UberRecords. The client is welcome to come into the studio and have the tracks mixed to thier liking. The cost for mixing varies greatly because certain types of music take a lot longer to mix because of track counts. A live band takes a lot longer to mix than a Hip Hop track. Also sometimes we get projects that have 100+ un-organized tracks that take just an hour to organize. Prices on mixing get a lot cheaper the more tracks you do with us because it is much faster to mix tracks that sound alike once you get in the work flow. *Mixing work is always done on a per project basis.

Mastering
|
Mastering is something that we pride ourself in. The key thing to Mastering is that you want your music to sound good on any system. Whether it be a type blown alarm clock speaker or a booming card stereo. Our mastering proccess assures that your music will sound the best on any system you listen to it on. Like mixing, mastering becomes a lot cheaper the more tracks you do with us. *Mastering work is always done on a per project basis.

Music Conception & Production
|
We also do a lot of music production and conception. If you only have the lyrics and tune to a song in your head we can make them into a song in no time. Just come into the studio and explain your ideas the best you can and we promise we can get exactly the sound and feel your looking for.

Sound Design
Sound for Film
and Film Scoring

Although we have yet to score and do sound design for a Full Feature we are in the proccess of doing one now. The Feature Film, "We Are The Strange" will be released in Spring of 2006. At the moment we have already started the sound design. However we have done a few short films and look to help out as many student as possible with free songs for soundtracks and cheap sound design and scoring work. Most of the music recorded by UberRecords can be used freely in films as long as you get our consent and if your looking for a peticular sound for your movie and you want an all orginal score, we can do that too.

We can teach you any of the previously mentioned tasks so you can do them on your own. Making music takes a lot of time to get good at, but it doesn't take much time to get put in the right direction. In a few hour sessions we can get you on the path of making, mixing, and mastering your own music! We also can optimize whatever computer or setup your currently using. Or we can set one up for you from the ground up.
